Donors are people from all walks of life and ethnicities - there is no such thing
as a 'standard donor'. What they all have in common is their desire to help
people and make a real difference to someone's life.
  Can I Help?

To become a donor you need to be aged between 18 & 40, generally fit and healthy.
You may not be able to donate if you have had a serious medical problem, disability, infection with genital warts/genital herpes or family history of hereditary (inherited) disease.
You will need to be willing to attend the clinic for initial tests and then regularly to make donations and finally attending a last screening appointment 6 months after your last donation.

Compensation payments are £35 per donation. This is paid at £20 cash per donation visit (after initial screening has been completed) with the remaining £15 from each visit paid in a lump sum at the final screening appointment.
